Originally from the Ngounié province in southern Gabon, Mr. Orphé Mouele has achieved a remarkable academic career. After attending the prestigious Lycée National Léon Mba, he continued his studies at Omar Bongo University, in the Economics department. There, he obtained a Master's degree in Project Analysis and Sustainable Development, demonstrating his commitment to economic and environmental issues.
Mr Orphe is deeply passionate about art and culture, and is actively involved in promoting a more sustainable economic model. Its vision embraces a holistic approach to development, where the economy aligns harmoniously with ecological and cultural needs.
As an activist committed to environmental preservation, he actively participates in discussions on forest protection. He advocates for the voice of Gabon and indigenous peoples in international climate negotiations, emphasizing the importance of their contribution and perspective in these crucial debates.
Mr. Mouele holds the position of Deputy Secretary General of the NGO Gabon Terre d’Avenir.
